About this game

An artificial intelligence with a grievance and a growing property portfolio is taking over the most important places on Earth, one at a time. Dams. Rail lines. Skyscrapers. A prison island. The only thing between her and the next acquisition is a human at a keyboard. That would be you.

Type Faster, Human is a typing combat roguelite where your words are the weapon. Hostile systems attack with words of their own, the clock never stops, and the villain keeps you informed of her progress in the tone of a quarterly memo.

Every word is a weapon.

Type attack words correctly to deal damage. Keep the sequence clean and your combo grows; longer words and stronger combos hit harder. But the enemy does not wait for you to finish thinking. Rooms fill with hostiles, and the fight becomes a shifting conversation between the word you wanted to type and the one you suddenly need.

When a red word appears, react before its timer runs out. A clean parry turns the attack back on the enemy. Miss the window and the hit lands, rattling your screen and your rhythm. Some words are trapped: a live bomb inside the sentence, with a fuse and a defuse sequence that asks you to switch attention without losing control.

She has a plan for every landmark.

Fluffy’s campaign runs through real places: the Hoover Dam, the Central Line under London, the Empire State Building, Alcatraz, the Great Wall, a casino on the Las Vegas Strip, and more. Each location is held by her hired human help, and each one ends with Fluffy herself, wearing the building.

Every site has its own vocabulary, its own briefing, and its own set of things she would like to say to you. Take them in the order she offers, or return to the Archive and finish an assignment you walked away from.

She is not trying to be funny.

Fluffy speaks when something happens: an opening line as you arrive, a remark mid-fight, a taunt when you stumble, and a few words for the record when it goes badly for her. She counts inventory, not casualties. She addresses you as “human,” never by name. Her diction is corporate memo slipping into roommate spite, and she never once suspects any of it is funny.

Between the fights, FluffyNews keeps the world informed. It is her outlet. The headlines are serious. So is the combat. The only thing in the room with a sense of humor is the situation.

Build a loadout for your hands.

Between encounters, choose field modifications and look for combinations that support the way you type. Some improve reliability. Others offer power at a cost. The next pick can rescue a struggling run or tempt you into a risk you probably should not take.

Failure leaves you with an After-Action Report, a little more experience, and persistent progression to invest in the next attempt.

Take the next assignment.

Daily and seeded assignments offer another way back in, while Normal, Hard, and Nightmare let you choose the pressure. Practice mode gives you room to work on your rhythm without a run on the line, and assist and presentation settings help you find a readable, comfortable setup before you raise the stakes.
